Chapter: 1

I'm sorry. It took me days to get the courage to click on this. It was hard to read, but I think it's important to get this stuff out of your head.

I did okay until Talinda called, and Brad's head just automatically jumped to it being Chester. Ugh.

Sorry. I can't say much more, other than thanks for sharing. I hope it made you feel better to get it out of your head.

Ouch. My heart. This was really beautiful yet heartbreaking. I can totally relate to Brad. The not wanting to talk to the guys because talking to them makes the whole thing real and he can't face it. Poor thing. At least he has Elisa who's so supportive and loving and patient. Glad the guys went out of their ways to reach him and that they were all there for him, putting aside their own pain for a bit to make Brad's day special. And that Tal went too. Shows just how much they care for him. Lovely story. Thank you for sharing it. <3

This one was hard. Man. I know how Brad feels. Sometimes it really hurts to think that (fill in the blank) is doing (fill in the blank) but Ches isn't here to do it too. It's painful. But, in this story, it's nice to see Brad surrounded by love. By his kids and wife, and even the guys and their families going the extra mile to help. I love that Talinda called him on his birthday and even showed up to the spur of the moment party. Elisa is so loving and understanding in this, I adore her character here.

Thank you for sharing. I know it gets tough, but I agree. I think it's healthy to let it out, to express it and give those thoughts and feelings a voice.
