So I’ve gotta tell you I love stories where there are kids involved. I feel like it adds to the cuteness and I’m a fan of fluffy and romantic things :D

The chapter was hilarious overall inspire of the beginning being a bit sad. Loved the dynamic of Mike and Chester with their kids. Even though it must have been a damn hard job being a single parent they have done a good job. I’m excited for what happens next.

And I’m already melting into the story ;)

Me again. I forgot something! Chester buying all the books about murder and torture and whatnot was a nice touch. Such a writer thing to do. Hahaha

Gotta say upfront, I love collabs. They've always been a part of LPF, and it makes my heart happy to see writers coming together to make something creative. You guys should have told me it was you when you asked for the account :)

Now..all these kids. It's confusing since they're all made up names, but I love that Chester has a son the same age as Mike's son and yup, they both like dinosaurs. Such a little boy thing. No. What's wrong with me? I LOVE dinosaurs! So not a boy thing. Just a little kid thing.

Mike and his dissing out an author to a customer...shame on him lol I'm glad it turned out to be Chester. Serves him right. He should know better XD He might not like those books, but they're making him money. And if he's an independent bookstore, then he's choosing to order them for his store. I think Mike's an in the closet cheesy mystery lover *wink*

How funny would it be if he took a copy of each of Chester's books home and read them like crazy? Just to try and find out more about him. I would die laughing, especially if hates them even more after he reads them!

Okay. Sorry. Back to the actual chapter.

Mike losing his wife that way is very sad. Poor guy. And his whole kissing/talking to his wife before and after work..gosh. I can only imagine how hard that would be. I kinda love it when we see such things in stories/movies. Like, even though they're gone, they're still part of your life. And now he's a single daddy, but Oliver seems very well behaved, so he's doing a good job.

I like Chester having a pack of kids, since he did in real life. It's so him. Just a bunch of kids running around naked and wild lol and trashing Mike's bookstore XD that cracked me up.

I'm curious to see where it's going to go...somewhere something was mentioned this would be like a Hallmark movie. I hope it will be :) I love a nice, sweet romance.

Oh I am so ready for this! I love you both as writers so to see you collab and write together will be mind blowing! Love the idea of Chester and Mike in a AU, and seeing Mike lose his wife, my heart 💔. Let’s hope Chester will fill that void xox

I love that you two are writing a story together, and I'm looking forward to the next chapters! This first one was very good already :)

Mike's wife passing away was really sad, but I'm sure he'll build up a new relationship with a certain author he met...that part when I realized Chester was the author of the books Mike thinks are 'crap' was absolutely hilarious! I also like that there are so many kids involved and that they already get to know each other.

Please update soon, I can't wait :)

I'm absolutely melting into the idea of this story already... Seriously, this was such a nice start to what I hope will become a really long story full of Bennoda-love! And plenty of Rob-and-Brad-uncle-friendship-moments.

The start was a bit sad, reading about Mike's wife passing. It must be so hard, trying to rebuild your own life and having a child to take care off. that is, at the same time, a constant reminder of what happened. But he really seems to manage well, with the help of his friends.

And then Chester came into the picture. I can only imagine what my heart would have done if I would have ever stood in front of him, so Mike's heart skipping a beat is only realistic. And it's nice that they connect via the kids. I mean... they could have managed without I guess, but it adds an extra layer of cuteness to the situation!

And I really had to laugh as soon as I realised that Ches is the author of the books. I think I had it through quite quickly and I enjoyed Mike's rambling about how much he hates the books even more because of that :D
