I really liked this!! It was interesting to see something written in second person POV, you don't see that much and it gives standalones like this an interesting vibe. You described Chester's feelings really well for such a short piece. All of his actions, whether it's on stage or when they're in the hotel room spoke volumes about his feelings of confusion and longing. I like how there never was a conversation about what happened or about them addressing their feelings. It keeps the reader in the dark, kind of like they both are. My favorite line was "His arm around you feels like home." Ugh, hits me straight in the heart. This was incredibly sad for such a short fic. Ugh, I feel so bad for Chester. You really did an awesome job here!

Welcome back, Emma :) when I saw your name pop up on the boards, it was like, wow, where has she been? I read your updated profile. I'm so glad things are looking up and you're getting back to a good place. And I'm so happy you've decided to come back to LPF.

This story was very cute. It was a light, fun read and I love those. I like how you skipped along, showing just small glances at how Chester is anxious/worried/unsure and yet we don't get to see how Mike feels. Not really, other than he can feel a change is/has happened. I liked the moment they were playing cards, and when everyone went to bed, they stayed up a little longer, only to lay down together for the night. I can totally see how that word "brother" wouldn't exactly fit, if you're starting to have feelings for someone.

Thank you so much for sharing, I hope you'll write more!

Chapter: 1

I really liked this story, and I was glad to see your name back here. When I started writing fanfiction again last year, I had read a lot on this page before and of course your stories, too. I also read your life update because I'm always interested in why people stop writing and then come back to the page after a while or even years. It's so good that your health is getting better!

Anyway, back to the story: it was cute and sad at the same time because it has to be terrible to be so close to someone on tour and then having to go home and not having that person around you all the time anymore.

Also, your writing is not rusty at all!

Well done :)

Welcome back! LPF has that pull, doesn't it? I read your 'life update' and I'm glad you are in a better place. <3 and many hugs for you!

This was so sweet and also sad. Chester realizing that he's feeling more for Mike and pushing him away seems like a natural response to realizing you're in love with your best friend. My favorite part is Mike snuggling up to Chester on the couch, and Mike sighing like everything was okay now that Chester was letting him be close. <3

The ending is what pulled at my heartstrings. They spend so much time together, and going home must be strange and hard. I love that Mike makes to move to hug Chester, and Ches accepts. It's just sweet. Thanks for sharing!

AND - I'm not gonna lie... if you're going to go back and work on Sometimes I Don't Make Sense, I FULLY support that. I'd love to know how that story ends!!
