Johnny was a talented young man of only 16. He lived everyday to its fullest and learned from his mistakes to not only help himself, but others too. He was the greatest friend I had ever had, and to many I know they feel the same.

Johnny wrote many stories that never made it to this site. One of his stories Perfectly Substandard was left unfinished. People have convinced me to continue this story. I have not tampered with his plot and am continuing the story just like he had outlined before his death.

On March 28, 2007, Jonathan Yorke and Erik Miller were driving home from the movie theater. On the way home, Johnny stopped at the stop sign at an intersection. After checking the right of way, John pulled through and a drunk driver ran his stop sign into the right side of John's vehicle. The car swerved into a light pole, smashing front bumper. Johnny's airbag didn't deploy and his body crushed between his seat and the steering wheel. When the windsheild broke, a piece of the metal from the roof broke off and hit him. He died at the contact. Erik's airbag did deploy, however he passed out from hitting his head on the roof of the car. He spent a little over a week in the hospital in a coma, until on April 9th, he passed in his sleep.

If the other driver had been able to stop at the stop sign, none of this would have happened. If the other driver hadn't been drunk, Johnny and Erik would be alive today. Please help stop drunk driving and ride with a designated driver.
