That was great. I loved the little story telling device of the sounds. Very cool and creative. And, for the record, my money is on Ryu. Dude is bigger and meaner. Besides, Mike's a lover, not a fighter. ;)

YAY. It is good to know that I slaved all night for you and you enjoy. I still stand by the fact that Mike would kick Ryu's ass and in fact I may need to write a story where that happens. But I am glad you enjoyed. YOU OWE ME (haha I wrote own again)

"Mike flinched each time the wooden slabs came in contact roughly with their frames. Was it just him or was each one getting louder?
Splintering wood from heavy footsteps.
Mike held his breath as the sounds echoed thru the house as Ryu descended the stairs. If Mike thought about it, he could almost feel the anger in each step Ryu took.
Shattering glass and loud cursing
Ryu had hit the table in the hallway. That meant he was getting close. Mike closed his eyes and rested his forehead against his knees in his last ditch effort to avoid the inevitable."
