Hi. I'm absolutely sure that I've never reviewed for none of your stories, have I? I just review for bad stories or to mention some thing to the author. I've read your Behind…and Maze, they were really good. They were almost new things. But this new one wasn't good enough. I'm not saying you wrote it bad but I mean it wasn't the way you always write. I don't care that it was based on a true story and it doesn't make sense for me but there is some thing really wrong with the story, don't ask me why or how or where, because I don't know why, I don't know how and surely I don't know where. I didn't want to review but as you're one of my favorite authors, I decided to review and tell you that.

Joking apart, poor Chaz *hugging him*, Mr. Shinoda is too ruthless, and Mike, he qua Chaz's best friend cheated and hurt him, and Mrs Shinoda, I can image her vicious smiles. And Chester, he's so unsophisticated, he want to get comfort but he choose the wrong people. Shinoda families have only themselves to blame, but Chester...oh, poor Chaz...*cry*

I'm... Kind of speechless, but I'll try to leave a useful review anyway!

The summary was a very nice bait. Since I'm currently in a period where I'm totally addicted to a certain vocalist (well, currently is an understatement... I think I'll be stuck in this condition forever!) and the summary sounded very promising, even though I really didn't know what to expect.

In the beginning I kind of thought it was going to be a "Mike treats Chaz like trash and cheats on him etc. etc." type of fic, but as it continued I realised that I was severely wrong and that I'd come across something very original! Maybe the plot has occured somewhere, somehow in some universe, but your writing style and your way of telling the story really made wonders.

I also like very much how it's all done from Chester's perspective in a way. I can honestly say, when Mike's dad started getting threatening, I felt just as unsure and frightened as I think Chester did! I imagined feeling all of the feelings that you described Chester to have, and that is brilliant work since the fic gets much more thrilling.

The ending, too - wow. Something so difficult and troubling as murder and suicide, pulled off so easily but just so... Let's just say you made it all feel so natural. Which is scary as hell! But amazingly well done. Chester's way of freeing himself and his family of pain - almost had me in tears, but at the same time I understood.

Hope you get the point; it's not a small achievement to make a person from a very good home and with a good life to feel exactly as exposed as Chester in this fic. I don't really know what I'm writing anymore, but I hope that my praise didn't go unnoticed!

Wonderful one-shot. This one I will remember.
