"Exorcists in this day and age are on the verge of extinction. No one, religious or lay, would like to acknowledge the fact that Satan is alive and well, tormenting and destroying souls. Many religeons do not believe in possession and many are afraid to believe that it can occur. It seems that most religeons fear Satan and what he can do to them, more then they believe in God who can do ALL things. Fear is Satan's dear friend. When someone fears Satan, Satan has power over them. The religious clergy fail to realize that Satan's biggest fear, more than exorcism, is confession. A priest who preaches, and hears confessions, should not be afraid to be an exorcist. To not use the powers of exorcism that Christ has given, is a direct betrayal of His command." -Father Cliff Graham

(Mike’s Pov)

As I was reviewing the scriptures in my bible, the phone abruptly interrupted me. I closed the book and grabbed the phone off of the end table.

"Hello-?" Someone suddenly disrupted me.

"Please help me, Father. He’s acting so weird lately. I don’t know what to do anymore..." She said swiftly. I nodded my head, understanding what she has gone through.

"And your name?" I asked, grabbing a pen ready for to write her name down on some paper.

"Sonya.," she said shakily, "Sonya Bennington..." I wrote it down quickly and began talking to her.

"Now tell me Sonya, what is his name?" I said calmly, trying to calm her down a little.

"Chester Charles Bennington," My eyes widened a little when she said his name.

"Father, he’s upstairs, strapped to his bed. The older priest died from a serious heart attack and my child caused it. I need someone else to help him. I need you, Father Shinoda," Sonya said worriedly.

"Well Sonya, I’ll help you and your son," I said, "I just need to ask you a few questions and I’ll come there as soon as possible." She sighed happily and thanked me.

"Tell me what were the signs he gave towards you?" I said. I heard growling noises in the background while she was sniffing softly, trying not to burst into tears.

"Um... He speaks and understands unknown languages without ever studying the language being spoken or heard. He clearly knows things that are distant or hidden," She continued, "He has an intense hatred for holy things. He shows a physical strength far above his age or normal condition and can predict future events, sometimes in his dreams." I nodded my head and wrote everything down on the paper.

"Okay, now when did he start doing these things?" I asked her. The growling stopped and she sighed heavily.

"Um, a week ago. He fights back whenever I touch or talk to him," She said, crying softly, "I miss my son. I want my son back."

"No need to worry. Everything’s going to be fine." I grabbed the paper and folded it, putting it into my coat pocket.

"Where do you live? What’s your address m’am?" I said putting on my coat.

"I live right by St. Ann’s Roman Catholic Church. It’s 12820 New Germany Road." she said softly.

"Grantsville, right?" I asked, trying to remember her address.

"Correct. See you soon." She said.

"Good Bye, Mrs. Bennington." I said. As I was about to hang up, she told me to be careful through the snow and rain.

"I will m’am." I hung up and grabbed my coat and put it on, bringing my bible and small wooden cross with me.

I went outside and opened my car door. I got in and looked under the mat to find my key. I smiled and started my key in the ignition. I backed out my driveway and headed down to New Germany Road.
