Chester heard the lock jangle and he ran to the door, sitting on the floor and waiting with anticipation.

Rob opened the door and smiled down at his boyfriend. “Good boy,” he murmured and walked to the table, placing the large tray down. “Breakfast.”

Chester crawled over and Rob crouched to stroke his cheek and kiss him. “Miss me?”

“Yes.” Chester nodded and Rob opened his arms and enveloped him in them.

“I missed you too.” Rob replied, rubbing his cheek to the top of Chester’s head. “You can sit at the table.”

Rob took the lid off the first dish to reveal porridge with maple syrup patterned generously on the surface.

“Thank you.” Chester smiled as Rob took a seat opposite and watched as his boyfriend picked up the spoon and took his first mouthful.

“I love you.” Rob told him, head tilted to the side as he observed him.

“I love you too.” Chester said through his mouthful and licked porridge from his lower lip. He smiled when Rob physically reacted in his seat.

“Is it too hot?”

“No.”

“Eat faster.” Rob instructed and Chester immediately obeyed. He shovelled the food into his mouth allowing drops to fall down his chin and even ‘accidentally’ flicked porridge onto his chest in the hope that Rob would lick it off later. Rob shifted in his chair but resisted touching himself; there were still two courses to go. “Hmmm ok, on the floor, you need to eat on the floor.” He said suddenly, desperately. Chester nodded, falling to his knees and placing his bowl in front of him, without using his hands he bent down to the bowl, licking and slurping at the remaining food. Rob growled out and rubbed himself through his pants.

Chester finished and looked up at Rob with wide eyes as he licked his lips.

“Back at the table – eat with your fingers.” Rob told him as he lifted the lid on the next meal; fried eggs on fried bread with sausage, baked beans, fried tomatoes and bacon. Rob rubbed himself as he watched Chester quickly work through the food, dipping the bread into the egg yolk and scoffing it down. “You’re beautiful.” Rob breathed as Chester licked his fingers and plate and looked expectantly at him.

“Thank you.” Chester smiled. “Need help there?”

“Not yet, you have desert first.”

“I thought you were desert.” He grinned and Rob rolled his eyes pulling the lid off the last meal, croissants that Chester knew would be filled with chocolate. “Did you make these?”

“Yes, not as hard as I thought.” Rob shrugged and Chester picked up the first one and bit in, chocolate immediately oozed out the other end and dripped down his naked chest. He leisurely scooped it up with his finger and licked it. Rob groaned again and slipped his hand into his pants, sighing as he touched himself.

Chester finished his croissants and ducked under the table, appearing between Rob’s legs who had freed his cock from his pants and Chester immediately took it in his mouth. It didn’t take long and he drunk down the last morsels of his breakfast. Rob slipped off the chair onto the ground and pulled Chester into his lap.

“Thank you for breakfast.” Chester told as he relaxed into his lover.

“Thank you for eating it all, are you full?” Rob asked as his hand ran down Chester’s side to his full stomach. Chester nodded and Rob’s hand continued to under the waistband of

Chester’s boxers and he began to stroke the semi hard cock. “Do you still have the beads in?”

Chester nodded again and kissed at his neck.

Rob smiled and shook his head, kissing the top of Chester’s head. “You are such good boy, all alone here last night with the beads up there.” Rob spoke as his hand went down Chester’s back and he gave the end of the beads a wiggle, Chester whimpered and twitched in his arms.

“You ate all my food and sucked me off… you really are the perfect boyfriend.” He pulled the beads out of Chester who shuddered and came in his boxers.

Rob tossed the beads away and pulled off his boyfriend’s boxers. He kissed him softly and tilted his head back so he could see his face.

“Mike and Brad are coming over today.” He said softly and Chester frowned.

“Why?”

“Worried about you of course, coming to check up on us.” Rob looked to the open door that led to the stairs up to the house.

“I told them I’m fine.” Chester pouted and cuddled Rob.

“I know. They just don’t believe you. But it’s fine – they’re coming over for dinner and will see we’re happy.”

“What are you cooking?”

“Potato and leek soup, beef stroganoff and… well I was going to do chocolate cake but I think a cheesecake will be better.”

“Oh. I’d prefer chocolate cake.”

“Yes, but I don’t think it’d help our case if I start masturbating over you eating it then fuck you senseless with you covered in it. I think it’d push them further away from understanding us.” Rob explained and Chester giggled.

“I’m pretty sure I’ve eaten cheesecake from you as you’ve fucked me.”

“I’ll just have to resist and save it all for after they’ve gone… maybe I’ll make a small chocolate cake for bed time.”

“Am I sleeping with you tonight?”

“Of course, I can’t last more than two nights without you with me.” Rob muttered and tightened his hold over Chester. “Come on now, bath time.” He said and suddenly stood, scooping Chester up.

“I’m surprised you can still carry me.” Chester chirped as he clung on tightly up the wooden steps away from the basement.

“As you get heavier I’ll get stronger, don’t you worry about that.” Rob replied and continued up to their bathroom, standing Chester down and drawing a bath. “I’ll let you relax in the bath while I go start on the soup.”

“What time are they coming?”

“Well I said dinner was at seven so they’re coming at five.”

“Huh?”

“I don’t know – two hours to quiz you while I slave away in the kitchen.”

“Oh.” Chester muttered and worried his lip. Rob stood in front of him and kissed him softly and deeply.

“Don’t worry.” He reassured. Chester got into the bath and sunk down into the bubbles. “I’ll be back soon.” Rob stooped to kiss his forehead and left the room.

Chester had finished bathing when Rob returned, in time to towel dry him and slide his hands all over his nice clean lover. “I bought you some new pants.” Rob told him as he pulled a bag from the bottom of the wardrobe and tipped the contents on the bed. He held up a pair of black and red plaid pants for Chester who took them and stroked the material.

“Thank you – they’re so nice, very smart.” He immediately slipped them on and buttoned them up.

“I thought they might be a little big,” Rob spoke with a hint of disappointment as he handed Chester a belt, “I bought them because I knew they would go with your red shirt.”

“Do I look irresistible?” Chester did a spin on the spot as he did the last button of his shirt up and looked at Rob.

“When do you look anything but?” Rob pulled him into his arms and they kissed. “You look beautiful.”

“Thank you.” Chester sighed as Rob held him.

“And don’t let anyone let you think otherwise.” The drummer spoke after a moment and Chester lifted his head to look into his eyes with confusion. “Just, if they say anything to you I want you to remember that I love you and their opinion doesn’t count.”

“When they call me fat.” Chester nodded. “I don’t care what they think Robbie, about anything. We’re happy and if they don’t get that then that’s their problem.”

“Good boy.” Rob smiled and kissed Chester. “Now, come and chat to me while I continue slaving over dinner for our friends.”

***

The doorbell rang while Rob had Chester pressed up against the refrigerator. Chester groaned through the kiss and Rob cursed before moving back and letting Chester’s hand fall from his pants.

“Fucking early!” Rob snapped in frustration. Chester smiled and cupped his face for a soft kiss as the bell went again.

“I’ll get it, you think of Brad naked.” He smiled and Rob shook his head and curled his lip at the thought.

“Wait-” Rob caught Chester’s arm and fixed his shirt which had creased and redid a few buttons. The doorbell went again so Chester threw a sympathetic look at Rob before running to the door and throwing it open.

“Hey, sorry.” He panted.

“Where were you?” Brad asked and both he and Mike watched Chester lean against the doorframe to catch his breath.

“Just in the kitchen, crucial part of the cooking – sorry, come in.” He gestured to the living room and they both stepped past him and into the room.

“We bought wine – where’s the chef?” Mike asked as he sat on the two seater with Brad.

“Just cooking, thanks – we’ll erm…..” He looked down at the wine.

“Use it for cooking, thanks guys.” Rob appeared, took the wine and looked at it impressively.

“It smells good.” Mike nodded and Rob nodded.

“I hope it tastes good too – drink?” He replied with a smile.

“Oh I can do that!” Chester exclaimed and threw an apologetic look at everyone.

“Just pepsi please.” Brad requested.

“Yeah I’ll have the same.” Mike added.

“Sure? I think we have beer.” Chester offered as Rob disappeared behind him.

“Pepsi is fine.” Brad replied with an encouraging smile and Chester nodded before rushing to the kitchen.

“I’m nervous!”

“I can tell.” Rob replied with a chuckle as he lifted the lid of the steaming soup to stir it.

“Yeah sorry, I just don’t want an argument.” Chester worried his lip as he poured the drinks.

“There won’t be.” Rob shrugged and Chester pulled a disbelieving face. “Well ok, I’ll keep my cool but if they go on about your weight or say anything-”

“We won’t care remember?”

“Oh I’ll care – I said you weren’t to care.” Rob replied before he stopped, closed his eyes and took a deep breath. “No, you’re right. They can say what they like.”

“Just keep picturing me licking chocolate out of your belly button. That’ll keep you calm.” Chester winked as he left the room with the drinks.

“Hmmm you need to learn the difference between horny and calm.” Rob muttered to the empty room.

Chester sat down on the large couch opposite his friends and sipped his Pepsi then placed it on the coaster.

“So how have you both been? How are Anna and Elise?”

“Good, we’ve been good – we just go back from Hawaii.”

“Oh yeah – was it nice? A vacation sounds like a good idea.”

“Beautiful, just quiet and relaxing,” Brad replied, “I would definitely recommend Hawaii.”

“So how’s the album going?” Chester asked Mike for conversation when no one spoke for a few minutes.

“Great, right on track to be finished in a couple of months now.”

“Awesome, you should drop a copy by for us to hear.”

“You could come over and hear it.” Mike said and Chester paused before nodding quickly.

“When was the last time you left the house?” Brad dived right in and startled Chester.

“Erm… I go in the garden all the time.”

“Don’t be flippant.” Brad shot back.

“I don’t have anywhere to go.” Chester shrugged. “Oh! The other week I went out! Rob and I went out for a drive.”

“A drive? Where?” Mike asked and Chester blushed.

“To the beach.” He lied; McDonald’s would definitely be the wrong answer.

“Right. And have you been out without him?”

“Why do I need to?”

“To have your own life, Chester, independence – you used to have a lot of it.” Mike said pointedly. They were both leaning forward in their seats and speaking in hushed voices.

“But then I fell in love with Rob and we do things together.” Chester defended himself and wished his boyfriend would make an appearance.

“So? We’re both married but lead independent lives, we can go out without someone holding our arm and watching our every move.”

“Well that’s you guys. We like to do things together.” Chester said softly, trying to keep his cool and not cry. He wiped his sweaty palms on his pants and wished his heart would slow down.

“So Rob does everything with you? He never goes out without you?”

“I… why does that matter?” Chester gulped.

“He’s allowed his independence, why can’t you have yours?”

“Chester has all the independence he likes.” Rob spoke from the doorway. “Dinner will be a

few moments. Chazzy, why don’t you show our guests to their seats and then help me bring out the food.” He spoke lightly and he left.

“Come on.” Chester muttered, hurrying to the dinning room and gesturing to the seats. He quickly went to the kitchen and straight into Rob’s waiting arms. “Did you hear?”

“Hmmmm.” Rob replied and rubbed Chester’s back.

“I hate them.”

“You don’t mean that. Just calm down, I’m gonna be there from now on aren’t I?”

“Don’t leave me alone with them – I’ll bring all the food in.”

“Ok, just relax – it’s dinner time.” Rob kissed him and Chester nodded, taking deep breaths.

“The smell of your food is already helping.” He agreed and they both took the bowls of soup to the dinning room.

“Smells and looks great, Rob.” Mike smiled and he picked up his spoon.

They ate in silence, the tension suffocating Chester who unbuttoned the top of his shirt and he struggled to eat. Rob threw him worried glances but he couldn’t ask because he didn’t want to provoke more questions, he personally preferred the silence.

“So, Chester thinks you too should go on vacation together.” Brad said as he cleaned his bowl with bread.

“Sounds like a good idea, somewhere nice and hot.” Rob looked at Chester who nodded.

“He’d actually have to leave the house.”

“Chester can leave whenever he wishes; he has a car and a driving licence.” Rob replied curtly. Chester stood up, collected the bowls and Rob followed him out to help bring the many dishes of the main course out.

“You’re keeping your cool.” Chester whispered.

“Yeah, but I really need to kick something.”

“Brad’s head.” Chester suggested and Rob laughed, he offered a grateful look for clearing some of the tensions in his mind before they carried the dishes out.

“Beef Stroganoff – Rob made the pasta from scratch.” Chester said as he dished out the pasta then the beef. “Help yourself to the vegetables.”

“Looks great Rob, you didn’t need to go to so much trouble.” Mike looked at all the food.

“Well I love cooking.”

“So we see.” Brad quickly retorted, his eyes trained on Chester who squirmed and concentrated on his food. Rob gripped his fork and stabbed a piece of pasta as they fell back into that formidable but preferable silence.

“Chester, when were you locked in the basement last?” Brad asked lightly and smiled at Rob as he shifted his eyes to Chester.

“Erm…”

“You don’t have to answer that.” Rob told him quietly.

“You don’t have to do everything Rob says either.” Mike said in a soft voice.

“No… it’s not like that.” Chester told them and breathed deeply, he didn’t know where to start explaining things, again. They never understood and there was no new way to make them see that this was part of their love for each other, that it wasn’t hurting him; it was just a game they played.

“Rob locks you in the basement Chester – you can’t believe that’s healthy for you.” Brad snapped.

“It doesn’t hurt me – I have a bed.” Chester defended his boyfriend, his chest twinging miserably.

“Stop ganging up on him.” Rob spoke quietly.

“That’s for you to do right?”

“He doesn’t! He loves me.”

“I’m sure he says that Chester, but he locks you up.” Mike still spoke in that soft caring, condescending voice.

“And I go willingly – you don’t get it, we like it – spending a night apart makes the nights we have together more special, when he opens the door I…” Chester trailed off, breathing hard and rubbing at his twisting stomach.

“Does he force feed you?” Brad bluntly asked and both Rob and Chester stared at him.

“No! I love the food he cooks for me.”

“And you like your appearance now.”

“Yes.”

“Really Chester? You’re so overweight.” Mike remarked and Chester worried his lip. He wasn’t supposed to care.

“Right guys, if you came over here just to attack my boyfriend then –” Rob started rising out of his seat but Brad jumped up.

“Oh no, we didn’t come here to attack him.”

“Oh I see, me – well attack me, stop interrogating and upsetting him.”

“Why because he’s so broken down by you he can’t handle it?” Mike asked.

“Because he gets upset when his friends bully him – I, on the other hand, couldn’t give a fuck.” Rob spat and Chester whimpered.

“Don’t Robbie, just leave it.” He muttered.

“Chester, I know you think he loves you but he can’t possibly.” Mike, who was still sitting, moved his chair closer to Chester’s and reached out to hold his arm. “He’s abusing you – making you put all this weight on so you’re heavy and unattractive, locking you in the basement and stopping you from leading your own life. The old Chester would be arguing here but you’re so quiet and broken.”

“He loves me and I love him.” Chester replied. This was getting too much.

“I know you think that –”

“How could you possibly know what I feel?” Rob snapped.

“Oh I imagine you think you love him, but if this is what you consider love – turning Chester into a fat miserable mess.” Brad snapped and Rob growled out.

“Get out; get the fuck out of our house.”

“Come with us, Chester.”

“No.” Chester breathed and gasped for air, his chest tightening painfully. “I feel sick.”

“Just leave now.” Rob shouted and moved to stand behind Chester’s seat.

“Don’t let him bully you.” Mike tried to get through to his friend but all Chester did was groan and rub at his chest. “Chester?”

“I can’t breathe.” He gasped out and Rob crouched down at his side, shocked to see how pale

his boyfriend was.

“Baby?” He said gently as he placed his hand on Chester’s sweaty forehead.

“Have some water.” Brad offered. Mike poured out a glass and Chester took a sip but shook his head.

“It hurts.” He muttered to Rob.

“Where?” Rob asked, moving close and pulling him into his arms.

“My chest-mmmmmm.” He groaned out and clutched tightly at his shirt. Rob carefully picked Chester up out of the chair and carried him from the room, Brad and Mike following. He gently lay Chester on the couch, propping him up with pillows.

“Call an ambulance.” He snapped behind him then turned his full attention on Chester who was crying as he struggled to breathe. “No tears, no crying now.” Rob whispered and wiped his thumbs over Chester’s cheeks.

“Robbie.” Chester gasped out and Rob shook his head.

“Don’t worry, no worrying – all you have to do is concentrate on breathing, ok?” Rob tried to reassure him as tears ran down his own cheeks.

“What’s happening?” Chester asked in a heartbreakingly quiet voice.

“A heart attack from all your fucking food.” Brad muttered behind and Rob turned his head.

“Not the fucking time Brad ok?” He snapped and turned back, pressing his lips to Chester’s forehead.

“The ambulance will be here soon and they’ll sort you out.”

“Then I can come home?”

“Yes, might have to pass on the chocolate cake sex though.” Rob raised a smile out of Chester through his pain but it only made him cry more. “I love you so much Chazzy.” Rob whispered as Chester writhed in pain and he wished he could help. “So when you get home I’m gonna make you anything you want, anything at all.” He said, just trying to keep Chester focused and awake.

“Sorbet, strawberry.” Chester breathed out and Rob smiled and nodded.

“Sure… of course I will.” Rob told him, squeezing Chester’s hand as they all heard the sirens get closer.

The paramedics were there and Rob was pushed to the side, answering all the questions they had and watching as they checked over Chester who looked like he was losing the fight with consciousness.

“Get out.” He said simply to Brad and Mike then never looked at them again, ignoring them as he locked the house behind the paramedics and followed them and Chester to the ambulance.

“Robbie?” Chester mumbled through the oxygen mask, his eyes closed but he held out his hand and Rob took it.

“I’m here, I’m always here.”

***

“Shall I carry you over the threshold?” Rob asked as he opened the door and picked up Chester’s bag.

“Did we get married in the hospital chapel without me knowing?” Chester chuckled and stepped gingerly inside

“Will you manage the stairs?” Rob asked, ignoring Chester. He didn’t wait for an answer and scooped Chester up, taking him up to bed.

“You don’t have to fuss.” Chester told him, but secretly loved it and didn’t complain when Rob helped him out of his clothes and tucked him into bed.

“I do have to fuss.” Rob sat on the bed and kissed Chester’s nose, sighing as he watched him for any sign of illness. “Do you feel ok?”

“Fine, tired which is weird since I’ve done nothing for four days.”

“Well your body’s done something, something bad.” Rob said and his eyes looked away.

“Every man in my family has suffered heart problems, Robbie.”

“And you just had to have a boyfriend with a stupid fucking food fetish to increase the risks.” Rob said bitterly. Chester just smiled and cupped his face.

“I love you and I love everything we do – I’m the happiest I’ve ever ever been and if that means I’m a big fat blob then I don’t care.”

Rob chuckled and rolled his eyes at his boyfriend, “You aren’t exactly a big fat blob – the term they used was ‘overweight’ and we’re gonna try and work on it, exercise.”

“If I exercise we can just carry on as before. I like the weight I am.”

“I like the weight you are, really really like it.” Rob blushed a little and to prove his point ran his hand down Chester’s chubby hip and kissed him deeply.

“Well then we’re fine.” Chester whispered after a brief break in the kiss.

“So…. lunch?” Rob breathed when they came up for air.

“Ohhh yes, hospital food is yucky.” Chester chirped and Rob got off the bed, smoothed down the sheets and handed him the remote.

“I’ll find something delicious but kinda healthy.”

Rob returned with his tray and turned off the TV. He sat on the bed and watched as Chester ate his mushroom omelette and drank his orange juice with only worrying thoughts running through his mind until Chester kissed him and reassured him the food was great and he felt fine.

“Are you sure?” Rob asked and Chester nodded, “Well I made you dessert too.” He lifted the lid and Chester squealed in excitement. “I told you I’d make you sorbet.”

“Oh Robbie.” Chester sighed with happiness. Rob moved closer to Chester and began to spoon feed his giggling boyfriend only stopping to flutter kisses across his face and over his strawberry tasting lips.

“Need anything else?” Rob asked, watching Chester eat with fascination and allowed him to take the spoon. He bit his lip and felt heat and blood rush to his groin as Chester seductively slid the spoon from his mouth; to Rob it was like watching Chester touch himself.

“Well after you’ve finished watching the show could you massage my feet – I keep getting pins and needles?” Chester asked with a smile and Rob nodded while sliding his hand over Chester’s chest and stomach. When Chester had finished his sorbet he placed the bowl and spoon back on the tray and smiled at Rob who was staring at his lips. “Thank you, it was delicious.”

“Like you.” Rob replied and he ran his thumb over Chester’s cold, red lips then they kissed, one small long kiss. “I can’t wait to tell our friends that you aren’t even classified obese!” He chuckled and Chester laughed loudly.

“They aren’t ever going to understand. We’ll just have to give them the ultimatum. They can both live with it and realise we’re happy or just stop being our friends and fuck off!” Chester said firmly and Rob raised his eyebrow.

“And they think you’re submissive!” Rob replied with a wry smile.

“Nope… now where’s my foot massage?”
