Alright, this is my first attempt at writing a fic for this site so all reviews, good or bad welcome!

Do you remember the day that it rained?

We'd been together for eight months and we were, as we'd always been, blissfully happy and in love. When I woke up that morning the rain pounded against the window, the sky was dark and unwelcoming, but in bed with you, it was warm and comforting, a total contrast to the outside world.

As I turned to face you, your beautiful dark eyes peeped over the top of the quilt. You smiled lovingly at me and lightly touched my arm as you delivered your morning kiss. Your mouth as soft as always and with your body so close to mine, it was all to easy to get carried away. Soon we were tenderly making love, lost in our own blissful heaven. Afterwards, we stayed snuggled up in bed, warm and pleasantly tired, listening to the soothing sound of the rain.

It was the closest we'd been in weeks. Now that the guys were busy with their own lives, I was all yours.

"This is amazing," you whispered, your lips grazing gently over my ear. I shiver slightly. I had no reply, I was totally mesmerised by you, by us. That morning, being so close to you, safe and dry, while the outside world was miserable and wet, it was the most amazing feeling in the world. I felt like I could do anything, but all I wanted to do was stay with you for eternity, I thought we would, but I'm a fool.

After that morning, we returned to the outside world where eveything and everyone is miserable. I never wanted to be one of those peolple who never smiles, but how can I not without you?

So as I stand now in this miserable graveyard, staring at the miserable lump of earth that covers the only person I ever truely loved, I think about that world we once visited, the one where we were safe and warm, always together.

I can't go on in this world without you, nothing's the same.

Everthing reminds me of you......especially the rain.
